What to Expect

What can you expect from CrossFit NFT?

1) “Constantly varied, functional fitness, executed at high intensity.”  We train our athletes to be physically competent in all 10 aspects of fitness…and they are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy.  Much of what life throws at you is unpredictable, and we want people to be prepared for the “Unknown and Unknowable.”

2) Time to practice and develop certain skills such as gymnastic movements, but also certain exercises like Double Unders.  We encourage our athletes to come in early or stay after workouts to practice certain skills or movements that they would like to perfect.

3) Met-Con’s (Metabolic Conditioning workouts, kinda like ‘cardio’) that are short and intense.  Most Met-Con workouts are limited to 20 minutes and this anaerobic training can match endurance training in aerobic benefit without sacrificing strength, power, speed, agility, etc.  An added benefit is the varied exercise modalities that can allow you to avoid certain muscle adaptations and increase your functional strength.

4) Regularly programmed strength days.  We also offer the opportunity to add more strength training to your workout routine, if you desire.

5) Trainers that ask you for your goals, and give you individualized advice on how to best reach them – fitness is not a one size fits all approach.

6) A positive environment. We like to fill our gym with people who are there to help each other. People who celebrate each others successes and value hard work and dedication.  We value friendly competition in a way that helps to promote each other to give it their best each and every time they come in.

7) Most importantly, we work hard right next to our athletes.  We seriously believe in our service and we practice what we preach.
